REDCAT STEEL is an innovative analog Distortion that has a digital brain used to memorize and recall up to 10 settings, an integrated Noise Gate to kill all the unwanted noise, a MIDI interface to change the presets and a powerful tone control that make the REDCAT STEEL a 10 in 1 Distortion pedal.
Each preset is characterized by 6 different parameters:
- DRIVE
- LOW
- MID LOW
- MID HIGH
- HIGH
- LEVEL
that you can change using the six knobs and their led rings.
REDCAT STEEL is an innovative analog Distortion, the sound is a metal-like distortion with a dual mid tone controls.
The REDCAT STEEL tone circuit is based on two stages, the first is a tone control based on the tone stack circuit, the second stage is a graphic multi-tone control acting on two mid frequencies and more.
Both the stages characterizes the sound of REDCAT STEEL, making it one of the best distortion.
A smoothy “Noise Gate” is inside the REDCAT STEEL; you can switch it off at any time, program the threshold of intervention or activate an automatic noise detection.
